About Me

I identify as a queer, trans, radical therapist. I view my role as a therapist as a way of undoing oppression through providing healing, trauma-informed, and politically infused services. I am committed to taking accountability for my privileges, identities, and their impact on my work and enjoy helping clients navigate similar processes.

Education & Experience

I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University, a program known for its clinical and psychoanalytic focus. My graduate coursework allowed me to explore the intersections between psychoanalysis, attachment theory, queer theory, critical race theory, and their implications on clinical work.  Prior to going into private practice, I worked in community mental health agencies as a child and family therapist for five years. In 2015, I opened my practice and continue to enjoy providing anti-oppressive based psychotherapy.  In addition to my role as a clinician, I am actively involved in the transgender health movement as well as the health at every size movement.

Outside of my work as a therapist I can be found reading a memoir, discussing queer politics, eating delicious vegan food, or simply cuddling with my dog, Sadie (who you see in the photo!).  I am a dedicated adventurer who spends their time off biking touring, skiing, rock climbing, and surfing.
